My son enjoyed his second piano recital after all although he was not really looking forward to it.
Everyone got a medal in the end!

Some laugh and say, "boys are so simple compared to girls," but being simple is good in many ways.
As for me, piano was one of the things that helped me make new friends in high school in Australia.
Maybe I should start taking lessons again...
(I might have said the same thing after my son's first recital.... I should be more simple.)
今日は息子のピアノのリサイタルでした。
ちょっと前から「リサイタルやりたくない」とたびたび言っていたのに、上手なお子さんたちに刺激を受け、さらにみんなメダルをもらえたので、結局、「今日一番楽しかったことはピアノのリサイタル！」（笑）
これを「単純だね～」と言うこともできますが、この単純さってすごく大事。
私もピアノを18歳までやっていたにもかかわらず、やらされている感一杯でモチベーションが限りなくマイナスに近いゼロでした。でも、初めて留学したオーストラリアで友達ができたのはピアノのおかげもあったんですよね。
私もまたやってみるかな～。
（って、前のリサイタルの後も言った気がしますが）
